Got my flu shot here!

I went to CVS for my flu shot this year and it was fantastic! Scheduling online was a breeze, and the pharmacist was super friendly and efficient. I was in and out in no time. So convenient, I will absolutely be going back for other services!

Decent value on photo prints

I used CVS for some photo prints recently, about 100 4x6s. The ordering process online was straightforward, and I could upload photos easily from my phone. They had a 40% off deal which made the price pretty good. Pick-up was scheduled for the next day, and they were ready as promised. The print quality was acceptable for casual photos, colors were mostly accurate, though a few looked a bit dark. No issues with bent corners or anything. I didn't need customer support, so can't comment there. Overall, a solid choice if you're looking for an affordable way to get prints.

Convenient, but delivery was slow

I bought some allergy medicine and a few snacks through the CVS app for delivery. The app experience was smooth, and I appreciated being able to get everything delivered right to my door. The prices were standard, nothing exceptional but not bad either. My only real complaint was that the delivery took about 5 days to reach me, which felt a bit long for basic items. Everything arrived well-packaged though. I just wish shipping was a bit faster, even if I have to pay a little extra for it.

Good for quick pickups

I ordered some shampoo and conditioner online for pickup last week. It was super easy to find what I needed on the site. Got a text when it was ready, like an hour later. Just popped in and grabbed it, no fuss. Definitely saved me some time.

Saved money on vitamins

I was looking to stock up on some vitamins and saw CVS had a buy one, get one free deal on their brand. I bought two bottles of Vitamin D, which felt like a really good deal. The website was easy to navigate and placing the order was quick. Picked it up the same day. Definitely felt like I got my money's worth with that promotion. Always looking for those BOGO offers!

hey quick question, I saw a 40% off photo deal, can I use that and also apply an ExtraBucks coupon I have? or is it just one coupon per order?

J James Carter 1 month ago
Yeah you can totally stack 'em! I did it last month for some prints, used a 50% off code and my $5 ExtraBucks too.

From what I remember, they're pretty good about letting you stack stuff. Manufacturer coupons, store coupons, and ExtraBucks usually all go through. Just make sure to put them all in at checkout.

I need a passport photo for an emergency trip, do they do those on the spot or do I need to book an appointment? how long does it usually take?

B Betty Jones 3 weeks ago
They do them on the spot! I just walked in, told them I needed one, and it took maybe 10-15 minutes total. Super quick.

No appointment needed for passport photos. Just go to the photo counter, they'll snap it and print it right there for you. Usually pretty fast unless there's a long line.

are CVS store brand vitamins any good or should I just stick to name brands? trying to save some money but don't want to get useless stuff.

R Richard 3 days ago
I usually just buy their store brand. Most of them are pretty comparable to the name brands, especially for basic stuff like Vitamin C or D. Look for the BOGO deals, they always have those.

Yeah, they're fine for most things. I mean, they have to meet certain standards. I've been using their pain relief and some basic vitamins for ages without issues. Plus, with the buy one get one free, it's a no brainer.

thinking about getting some custom holiday cards printed at CVS, how does the quality compare to like Shutterfly? is it pretty decent or kinda flimsy?

D Danielle Moore 1 month ago
I've used both! Shutterfly is usually a bit higher quality paper wise, but CVS is totally fine, especially when they have those 50% off deals. For holiday cards, most people just toss them after anyway haha.

They're good enough, especially for the price. I've always been happy with them. Not super premium, but definitely not flimsy in my experience. I think it depends on the specific cardstock you pick too.

anyone know if the CarePass thing is worth it? i mostly just get prescriptions there but sometimes grab snacks or shampoo. i saw something about free shipping?

S Sam Hall 1 day ago
If you get prescriptions filled often and buy other stuff, it's probably worth it. The free shipping is nice and you get like a monthly ExtraBucks reward. First month is free too so you can try it out.

I think so. I use it for the free delivery on my meds and the monthly $10 credit basically pays for the membership. Plus the discounts on some health items are a bonus.
